“IN THE PRESENCE OF DEATH GOD SPEAKS”
In the presence of death God speaks,
But what is He saying to me?
One thing is sure – He speaks to us all,
But what is He saying to me?
In the presence of death God speaks,
But what is He saying to me?
He says, I have balm for your sad, aching heart,
And comfort, my loved one, for thee.
In the presence of death God speaks,
But what is He saying to me?
I have put in my claim for this loved one of thine,
Just as I will for thee.
In the presence of death God speaks,
But what is He saying to me?
He says, This one left a good legacy,
But what would be said of thee?
In the presence of death God speaks,
But what is He saying to me?
This one had faith in the shed blood of Christ,
But can this be said of thee?
In the presence of death God speaks,
But what is He saying to me?
One thing is sure – He speaks to us all,
But what is He saying to ME?
