"AMEN; GOME, LORD JESUS" . (Revelation. 22: 20)
Come, Lord; Thy saints are longing for Thy coming,
When Thy blest exaltation we'll behold,
And every mark of shame that
Thou didst suffer Is answered in the glories that unfold.
Come, Lord; Thy saints are longing to be with Thee
And see their Lord and Saviour face to face:
To know the precious nearness of Thy person
And prove the glorious fulness of Thy grace.
Come, Lord, the groaning hear of Thy creation;
From sin's intrusion it has suffered sore.
Bring in Thine own most blessed liberation
And light and life and liberty restore.
Come, Lord; our hearts are loving Thine appearing;
When Thou, blest Son of God, shalt be adored;
When every knee shall bow in subjugation;
And every tongue confess that Thou art Lord.
Come, Lord; the Spirit and the bride are calling
And with one heartfelt voice are saying 'Come'.
Thy glory we await with earnest longing
And our blest part, to be with Thee at home.
