ABRAHAM AND SARAH, AND ISAAC AND REBEKAH, IN EGYPT
ABRAHAM AND SARAH, AND ISAAC AND REBEKAH, IN EGYPT
Mr. Newman objects to Abraham’s saying twice, and Isaac once, that his wife was his sister, as being improbable. (Phases, page 124.) Now it is stated that Abraham and Sarah had agreed to do it on beginning their wanderings. Nor is it therefore very extraordinary that Isaac should have thus learned it in his father’s house.
