THE GLORY THAT SHALL BE REVEALED

The day is shortly coming,

When Thou blest Lord shalt see

An answer to Thy travail,

When we shall with Thee be,

There, Thou in heavenly glory

Shalt be the centre blest

Of myriads changed and living

Who find in Thee their rest.

Oh what a blaze of glory

That heavenly scene shall be!

Each shining in Thy image

At rest in peace and free.

And oh what paeans of praises

Our willing tongues shall raise,

To Thee who art so worthy

Of worship, love and praise.

What blessed realisation

That glorious time will prove,

God’s wondrous sovereign counsels

Secured in endless love.

For then our eyes shall see Thee

Unhindered face to face,

Thou, blessed Lord, enjoying

The triumphs of Thy grace.
