RESPONSIVE CHILDREN
At a time when children in the temple were praising the Lord Jesus, some evil persons complained. Jesus replied that if the children were silent then the stones themselves would cry out! This is not necessary now because there are "living stones", as Peter touchingly describes those who believe in Jesus and to whom He is precious. Some of these 'stones' may be quite small, but being living they can grow up as it says, "to salvation" in God's great praise system.
I have read that Psalm 117 is the middle chapter in the Bible and it must be the shortest. It should be easy for the young growing-up children to learn it by heart, even with the hard word "Hallelujah" meaning 'praise ye the Lord'. Another Psalm says that from the rising of the sun until it sets God's name shall be praised. Yet another tells us that His praise is to the ends of the earth. There is therefore no time and no place where there is not some response to Him. Are you filling out your place in this glorious system?
