I only know people who stand in relation to Christ. I do not cultivate acquaintance with people after the flesh. I have often said I have no friends. I do not try to cultivate them. The spring of everything with us is that we stand in relation to the centre and we love those who stand in relation to the centre. We have no cliques. We love one another, because every one in the circle stands equally related to the centre. That is the ground of affection ... I do not care to go into a house where there is a clique. It is a thing to be avoided among us. It is not according to the truth of the circle.
