A FAITHFUL SAYING
“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief”, 1 Tim 1: 15
The greatest religionist, the greatest moralist that ever lived was ‘the chief of sinners’, because there never was a heart of man that hated Christ like that man’s - he hated Jesus of Nazareth. The blessed Lord looked down on him as he went to Damascus, and He says, I’ll capture that heart, and put into that heart My mighty love. The eye of that blessed One is on you, He desires to capture your heart. Will you let Him? He is waiting to put His mighty love into your heart. Will you let Him? Paul could say after his heart was captured, “The life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”, Gal 2: 20. That was a wonderful capture.
