EXTRACT

The declaration of God is perfect in Christ having descended, and approach to God is perfect because Christ has ascended. His priestly access to God is as great as the declaration. We come in as kindred to the High Priest, like Aaron and his sons. “Through him we have both access by one Spirit to the Father”.

An extract from an anonymous booklet published in Plymouth in 1838 appeared in the October issue. It is now realised that the extract was the concluding paragraph of a paper subsequently published in Mr. J. N. Darby’s ‘Collected Writings’ (N.S. Vol. 3, p.73).
