You may be sure how gladly I would be with you at the meetings.† I hope that the grace of the Lord may be abundantly with you all. Conscious as I am that there are many brothers with you far better than myself, I could not presume to send you a message, but I trust it will be remembered in any ministry that all truth centres in Christ, and not in the saints. [p. 203] their privilege to be in Christ by the Spirit, and thus in the full light and blessing. “In him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily”. While expatiating on the blessings that belong to the christian, I doubt if the saints are really touched, but if once their eyes are opened to an apprehension of the universe of bliss of which Christ is the Head and Centre, and of His capability to fill it, their souls will be lifted up, and they will readily learn their own part in the blessing.
