moment is that there might be persons who know what it is to

learn things in the company of Christ, and to imbibe His

character, and to come out like that blessed Man in the final

moments of testimony.

Does it appeal to you young men and young women? It is a

great encouragement to see you.

It gives me the certainty in my soul that God is going to

continue and complete His testimony. But He will only

complete it as He began it, in the Spirit of that blessed Man.

He will complete it in the same Spirit. There is only one Spirit

to be seen in the testimony and it is the Spirit of Christ. So the

apostle says in Romans 8: 9, “But if anyone has not the Spirit

of Christ he is not of him”. It does not say he is not a believer.

He may be a believer, saved for time and eternity; but he is not

much use in the testimony. But to be “of him” means that you

are a person who is worthy to continue the character of that

Man in testimony in the present and, as I have said, the final

moments of the testimony. May we all be found worthy of it, for

His precious name’s sake!
