Whatsoever things are true,
These produce a glorious hue
On mind and heart, as thus we meet
And always with the truth to greet.
Honest things are food for thought,
These are treasures that are sought
‘Mid corruption, falsehood, sin,
Honesty shines bright therein.
Whatsoever things are just,
Virtues these that we can trust,
Justice marks our every deed
If right thoughts our minds do feed.
Pure in thought, Oh may we know
More of its transparent glow
Precious gem of priceless worth,
Purity of thought, set forth.
Lovely thoughts may fill our mind,
These will not be hard to find
If replenished be our store
Daily, hourly adding more.
