given Him. We sometimes fear the power that is in the hands

of men, but let us have to do with One into whose hands all

power has been given. He is over all the authorities, the

dominions, the kingdoms; Jesus is over all these areas and He

is over the hearts of men. So He says, “I am with you all the

days”. The Lord said in John 14: 16, “I will beg the Father, and

he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for

ever”. So the Lord is strengthening our hearts and stimulating

us, and the Spirit is here indwelling believers and sustaining

us, to go through this scene of testimony, as did our sister. So

the Lord says, “I am with you all the days, until the completion

of the age”. It is a blessed thing to know that the Lord is with

us. May He bless all our hearts and effect something in us for

His pleasure, for His name’s sake.
