paradise’—and Paul had an addition to that—“To depart, and
to be with Christ; which is far better”, Philippians 1: 23, better
even than the very best thing here; and Paul had learned to
say that, and has taught us to say it too. How often we do say
it, and say it victoriously, at the grave’s mouth; and we can
continue to say it, until the Lord is pleased to take us to
Himself.
