The two articles which follow should have been included in Volume 3 of this series; and neither of them was given in Germany. However, one was overlooked when the collection was being assembled, and the other only came to light as this final volume was being finalised. The first article first appeared in a periodical magazine in 1943; the second has been transcribed from a recently discovered recording of an address in 1950.
