Hymn 259 — Thou art, O Lord, the centre
| 259 | M. W. BIGGS | 7.6.7.6.7.6.7.6. |
| 1 |
Thou art, O Lord, the centre Of that vast world of bliss, Where nought of sin can enter, Where joy eternal is; God's love that world pervadeth, There Thou dost all things fill; For Thou art Head, who suff'redst God's counsels to fulfil.
| 2 |
All fulness of the Godhead, Lord Jesus, dwells in Thee; Thou rightly art exalted; To Thee all glory be! Above all heav'ns ascended, Thou hast, O Lord, Thy seat; Thou art the Head of all things, In Thee we are complete.
| 3 |
Thou art our Head in glory, In Thee our place we see; Thy church, to Thee united, Is ever one with Thee. We hail Thee, Lord, ascended, As Man now made supreme; Thy Person and Thy glories Shall be our endless theme.
