Hymn 263 — Thy death, O Lord, and sorrow
| 263 | M. W. BIGGS | 7.6.7.6.7.6.7.6. |
| 1 |
Thy death, O Lord, and sorrow Have told Thy love divine; The deepest depths were fathomed In that great stoop of Thine. Thy love beyond all measure Was proved in Calv'ry's shame; Thy path of love we treasure; As ointment is Thy Name.

And though Thou art in glory, thy love is still the same As when its depth and fulness Were told 'mid sin and shame. thy love o'er all has triumphed, And made us ever Thine; The power of death has witnessed The strength of love divine.
